Modern designs for a Modern Age
Oh hey there. I decided to use a new theme here at Jason’s Adventures – one that’s compatible with mobile phones and iPads. You’ll also notice a slightly better menu (with updated about sections), and a stronger focus on what I post about, anyway – Food and Travel stuff. Expect some cross-postings from my Yelp experiences. Huzzah!
Thanksgiving meals
Thanksgiving meal! Prime rib, as well as some brioche French toast from Columbia city bakery, and some house smoked bacon from bob the butcher.
What Wat
Spent my free morning in bangkok by seeing the giant reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), birthplace of Thai massage. It was great to actually do some sightseeing while in bangkok. Also had a chance to get my iPhone repaired and a haircut for jake’s upcoming wedding. Airplane in 6 hours!
Sing Singapore
Well, looks like I slipped up and didn’t write about Singapore, but mainly because I was exhausted and kind of sick. Nothing noteworthy I did this year, except for the excellent and ridiculous German microbrewed beer that I had while I was there.

Waiting on the bus in Jakarta
Jakarta was a bit of a whirlwind of traffic and crazy college fairs. Managed to meet up with an MBA alumnus who took me out to a delicious satay place!
Kuala lumpur to the max
First time in three years I had a morning free in kl, so Jen and I managed to run to the Batu Caves outside of kl, lonesome caves at the top of 272 steps. They house some Hindu temples, as well as a lot of monkeys.
